Fears over trade wars, Brexit, Italy becoming the new Greece and Turkish instability are behind those loses.
Hopefully things will stabilize and I won't have to come back to Drumpfland.

Nope. Welcome to the beginning of the trade war recession! If we’re smart, we’ll end this nonsense before we have a full on global depression.
(we're not smart. Not even a tiny bit.)

Unfortunately, it never really works that way.
We can only hope Americans never get tired of winning or something , and oust these corrupt pieces of shit.

I am a “yank ”, currently living in Spain . And if things go to shit here, I’ll probably get relocated back home, something I'm not particularly excited about.

eh tbh... this might be the first time it does work that way
murica is a huge market... but with world wide trade you’re just a big fish amongst many
losing you would hurt
but not as much as it used to

What’s it called when something happens the same way every time, but you think it might be different this time? Fanciful wishes, but I doubt anyone with actual credentials thinks the US will only hurt itself. Who will replace it, Canada with less population than California, or the kleptocratic republic of China?
The US is a deplorable train wreck right now, but the EU is on thin ice, too. Nobody wins with this strategy, everyone loses.

They are the big dog now, they are just waiting things out. They are still in a position of mutually assured economic destruction with the US, but maybe not forever.
Notice for all of the tough talk by 45, there’s been no limit to the “investors” able to buy residency here - a huge percentage of real estate in my area is sold to “investors” (term for money launderers) from China. And to be fair, I would rather live under the idiotic US system than the even more corrupt Chinese government ideal.
